The SDN Explained – Under the Radar Conference

The SDN Explained – DEMO 08 Conference

Baltazar explains how Nirvanix’s latest product offerings and partnerships attest to their meaningful place within the Cloud Storage sector, and the already present and likely even more extensive impact they will have on traditional storage system market.
Abstract: “Nirvanix is a member of the new breed of cloud storage service providers looking to disrupt the traditional storage system market while also catering to the emerging Web 2.0 space. It has released beta software which it claims will allow NAS devices to seamlessly migrate data to its Storage Delivery Network (SDN) grid. It's billing the new CloudNAS offering as an unlimited storage option, with recently used data stored locally and older files pushed out to the cloud. The company is developing online archive and backup services that will store content onto SDN; it has plans of making this code available to resellers.
