Through the Nirvanix Web Services (NWS) developers and enterprises can seamlessly
integrate scalable Cloud Storage via a standards based API (SOAP and REST interfaces), FTP proxy or virtual CIFS/NFS drive mounts.
NWS provides full file system capabilities, management of end user accounts, and built in media processing functions. Businesses can
now expedite their time to market by focusing on their core application.
Unlimited Scalability
Nirvanix is offered as an on-demand service in a pay as you go model. With our clustered file system architecture, businesses are able to instantly integrate unlimited storage into their applications without spending a cent on hardware. The Nirvanix storage solution grows with businesses.
Dynamic load-balancing of traffic by replicating content in adjacent storage servers eliminates resource contention for best-user experience during peak loads. The node architecture in the Nirvanix’s Internet Media File System™ (IMFS) also supports intelligent routing of files to the closest global location for accelerated performance. The IMFS allows each customer's storage to scale effortlessly from 1 Gigabyte to 100 Petabytes and beyond.

Through the Nirvanix Management Portal (NMP), businesses can check system status, monitor storage and delivery at a granular level, and manage child account usage policies at any time. Security and Reliability
Nirvanix’s infrastructure has built-in enhanced security capabilities such as SSL, strong password authentication, and de-identified physical file information which prevents linking files to users without a 3-step key. In addition, Nirvanix Web Services are only granted permission to execute stored database procedures, without having access to the actual database tables. A 256-bit AES encryption client is offered as a reference application for additional security.
