SAN DIEGO, CA, September 10, 2012 – Nirvanix, the leading provider of enterprise cloud storage services, today announced the appointment of Tina Gravel as Vice President of Worldwide Sales, effective immediately. Gravel joins Nirvanix after a highly successful career at Terremark, where she was instrumental in growing the cloud computing services provider from its early beginnings to the point where it was acquired by Verizon for $1.4B in Jan. 2011. At Nirvanix, Gravel is responsible for the company's sales strategy and global expansion across both established and emerging markets and verticals such as healthcare, media & entertainment and financial services. "The company is deploying the largest cloud storage implementations in the industry at a time when other vendors are still searching for a solution. With Nirvanix's strong market position, significant time-to-market advantage and highly differentiated cloud storage services portfolio, I expect to drive material market share capture and further accelerate the company's growth trajectory."

"Tina's career of orchestrating strategic sales initiatives with large international teams for 'everything as a service' will enable us to reach a broader set of enterprise customers; MSPs and telcos looking to white label cloud storage services; and channel partners eager to make the transition to the usage-based cloud."
