Account Executive - All Regions
POSITION OVERVIEW
Successfully manage the activities of a senior sales executive selling to "C"-level IT decision makers from generating new leads, driving sales process at the enterprise level, forecasting of revenue targets and supporting a $3M annual quota. Meet and exceed personal monthly/quarterly objectives that include qualifying strategic opportunities in target enterprise accounts, lead generation, monthly recurring revenue, and bookings metrics.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage, qualify, and properly assign all inbound leads
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Perform WebEx sales presentations for new prospects
- Manage Proof-of-Concept periods with potential customers as part of the sales lifecycle
- Work with SEs to drive all direct customers and Proof-of-Concepts
- Control all sales reporting on a granular level, providing all pipeline, revenue, and bookings numbers to C-Level executives on a regular basis
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a minimum of 8-10 years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of attaining and exceeding sales quotas, and demonstrating strong lead generation skills
- Established relationships with enterprise storage/IT decision makers in Fortune 1000 companies
- A Bachelor of Science degree in business or a related field
- Possess at least 3 years hands-on experience in the technology field
- Understand sales lifecycle management, account management, and first-level support, ideally with experience at a fast-paced, dynamic company specializing in emerging technologies
