Partner Marketing Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Partner Marketing Manager provides support to Nirvanix OEM partners and resellers in a wide variety of joint marketing and promotional activities. The successful candidate will collaborate with partners and resellers to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies and ongoing revenue-enhancing plans, and will work cross-functionally with OEM and channel sales managers to support partner goals.

Key responsibilities include: Develop welcome packages/go-to-market kits for OEMs and resellers; Collaborate with OEM partners and resellers and drive development of marketing and promotional plans; Leveraging MDF funds, plan and execute joint lead generation campaigns, including email marketing, webcasts, seminars, roundtables, and banner advertising; Co-ordinate joint PR opportunities; Manage joint presence at tradeshows and conferences; Work with creative and editorial team to develop joint marketing collateral and sales tools; Track and report status of deliverables and budget; Provide timely responses to OEMs, resellers, and appropriate OEM and channel sales managers on requests for marketing support; Manage the Partner Portal.

The position will report to the VP of Marketing.

KEY SUCCESS MEASURES

  • On-time delivery of assignments and managed projects
  • Response rate, leads, pipeline generated and closed business for joint marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Timeliness of responses to OEM, Partners, VARs, and OEM and channel sales managers
  • Feedback from OEM, VARs, and OEM and channel sales managers

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of experience in developing and managing partner-marketing programs at a high-tech company
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing successful lead generation and promotional campaigns
  • Knowledge of storage, cloud and cloud storage, and the ecosystem preferred
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop professional relationships with partners and to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams both inside and outside of Nirvanix
  • Ability to manage programs and projects with limited supervision and to multitask and manage expectations, timelines, resources and deliverables in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Excellent, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or business
  • Must be faster than a speeding bullet
